- Friday Mō te tūnga | About the roleDo you have the enthusiasm, dedication and the skills to become an Administration Officer within Ara Poutama Aotearoa, Department of Corrections?We are searching for an Administration Officer to join our Wellington Community Corrections team on a permanent, full-time basis.Hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.
This is an opportunity to be part of a great organisation where you will support the Community Corrections team.
In this busy role you will enjoy working collaboratively as one team in a challenging and fast paced environment.Your day-to-day role will see you proactively providing a range of administrative services, including:Reception duties, such as answering phones, taking messages, and greeting visitorsLiaising with organisations and services we work withPreparing documents for courtPurchasing materials and stocktakingProviding support for the management of facilities and assetsRecord management and ensuring correspondence, reports and other documentation meet Department timelines and standardsProvide administration support across a varied team by co-ordinating meetings, external stakeholders relationships and filingThis position is located in our Wellington office in Newtown, working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
