Senior Project Manager - Transportation

This national project management firm has an excellent reputation in the construction market and is known for delivering high profile projects to both the public and private sectors. They are a top tier PM consultancy and represent clients on some of the largest and most complex capital investment projects across NZ.
There is now a requirement for a senior project manager with strong transportation project experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, from initiation, design, planning, consenting, procurement, construction through to commissioning and handover.
- Develop detailed project plans, scopes, and budgets in alignment with governance and funding models.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, providers, government stakeholders, and industry partners to ensure seamless integration.
- Lead risk identification, assessment and ensure projects meet cost, quality, and timeliness parameters.
- Provide technical and commercial oversight of consultants, designers, and contractors to ensure compliance
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering/Construction Management
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in infrastructure planning and project management within large-scale infrastructure roading projects
- Demonstrated experience operating within complex infrastructure stakeholder environments
- Strong understanding of design, construction, and commissioning processes
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Salary between $150K and $170K pending experience.
