ANIMAL TECHNICIAN
Working with cattle, this position is based in a small, friendly team that works to daily production targets with set procedures and protocols to follow. This is a hands-on role that suits someone who brings energy and a strong work ethic to their day.
Ideally, the preferred applicant will:- Be physically fit and strong with excellent stamina to keep up with the steady, consistent pace of work.
- Bring a high level of energy to the team. Have a positive, hardworking, professional, no-nonsense attitude
- Preferably have experience handling animals (cattle), although full training is provided
- Have neat and tidy handwriting and be able to keep accurate, clear records.
- Enjoy working in a rural setting
- Have a strong ‘can-do’ attitude and a proactive approach to tasks
- Fit in well in a small team and contributes positively to team culture
- Follow instructions and established procedures consistently.
- Be reliable, friendly, with a good sense of humour
- Hold a current driver’s licence (essential).
Shared accommodation may be available for the right candidate.
The position is based at Blue Cliffs Station, 20 minutes inland from St Andrews.
