- The Role
You’ll back up the Branch Manager and help lead day-to-day operations — part mechanic, part yard legend, part customer hero.
Your day will include:
Servicing and maintaining all types of hire gear — from small tools to 8T diggers
Helping coordinate hires, deliveries, and workshop schedules
Supporting customers and jumping on the counter when it’s busy
Delivering and collecting gear locally (Class 4 licence a big plus — or we’ll help you get one)
Keeping the yard humming and the gear looking sharp
This is a great fit for someone looking to transition off the tools and start developing management skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.- You’ll Need
5+ years’ mechanical experience (diesel, small engines, or automotive)
Great with people — customers and crew alike
Organised, proactive, and comfortable with basic computer systems
A current driver’s licence (Class 4 or WTR handy)
