At Azwood, we’re passionate about creating innovative, sustainable solutions that make a real difference for New Zealand’s environment. We’re looking for a practical, motivated person to join our Brightwater team in a hands-on role focused on site improvements, repairs, fabrication and maintenance projects across our operations.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. From improving site infrastructure and tackling practical projects to carrying out repairs and maintenance, you’ll play an important part in keeping our sites safe, efficient and running smoothly.

• Carrying out general building, engineering and site maintenance tasks
• Completing repairs, upgrades and improvement projects across our sites
• Assisting with fabrication, welding and practical problem-solving tasks
• Maintaining buildings, infrastructure and equipment
• Supporting smooth and efficient site operations
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

• Experience in building, maintenance, engineering, fabrication, or a similar hands-on role
• Welding and fabrication experience is an advantage
• Confidence using a variety of tools and equipment safely
• Strong practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team
• A willingness to get stuck in and help wherever needed
