Applicants in by 17th June.

At Idyllic, we don’t do boring.

We're known as the agency that thrives on the unconventional - the ones who push creative boundaries. Now, we’re on the hunt for the next addition to our cult: a Graphic Designer / Videographer who can bring bold ideas to life.

What You're Awesome At:

Design killer brand assets, logos, websites, social media content, packaging, and more. Our clients are everywhere, from Taranaki to around the world.

Shoot and edit high-impact video content for brands that need to stand out (think short-form reels, brand story videos, and campaign visuals).

Work with clients on creative concepts, where no idea is too wild.

Direct on-set shoots, ensuring every frame captures the right energy and storytelling magic.

Stay ahead of design and video trends, always pushing creative boundaries.

Collaborate with our strategists, marketers, and developers to bring ideas to life.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines like a pro.

You’ll Fit Right In If You:

Have a strong portfolio showcasing both top-tier design and video work.

Are fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Can tell a story visually, through both branding and video.

Are confident working with cameras, lighting, and sound.

Have experience directing people in front of the camera - because not everyone’s a natural, and you know how to make them shine.

Think strategically, not just aesthetically - we don’t make things look good just for the sake of it, everything serves a purpose.

Are comfortable working directly with clients, pitching ideas, and taking feedback like a champ.

Have experience in the industry and a sick portfolio.

Why You'll Love It Here:

A killer workspace in Central New Plymouth (you’ll get to visit often, we promise!), think record players, mood lighting, great coffee, emo rubber ducks, and room to create (and party when the time is right).

Exciting projects, nothing cookie-cutter here, expect the unexpected.

Opportunities to grow, learn, and push creative boundaries.

A workplace that thrives on bold ideas and out-of-the-box thinking.

Regular team bonding, creative brainstorming sessions, and the occasional studio party.

This role is for someone with at least 4 years of experience in a similar position. We are advertising this position in New Plymouth also and are putting out feelers for potentially having this position in Wellington instead as we have a growing client base in this region.
