Furniture Upholsterer
We are a commercial furniture Manufacturer based in Onehunga, Auckland and due to growth and expansion we are looking for experienced Upholsterers to join our Upholstery team on a casual full time basis that may potentially lead to permanent.
We are keen to ensure our team is made up of the best craftspeople possible in their trade who work hard, take quality seriously, but have fun and enjoy being part of a diverse team.
We have a wide diversity of upholstered product we do so the role is varied and diverse in terms of product variety you will be working on.
About the Role
Your skills in upholstery are needed! competency in cover-fitting and custom upholstery experience in a similar, manufacturing/production line environment who can work with little supervision and require only a minimum amount of training on how our key upholstered product lines.
Experience with upholstering new pieces as well as taking patterns and re-upholstering existing pieces is preferred but not essential. Experience planning custom pieces in conjunction with other team members (frame makers and cutters/sewers) would also be a bonus, but not strictly necessary.

Skills and Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in upholstery, and a clear eye for detail are required, experience in furniture frame making is also preferred Energy, physical fitness and enthusiasm and a team fit. Reliability and punctuality are essential willingness to go beyond to meet our customers' expectations.
