About the opportunity:
Our company is on the lookout for a reliable and versatile member to join our dynamic and fast-paced factory team for a fixed term of three months, while some of our team take extended sick leave. Successful applicants will be required to work in our factory production line, assisting with upholstery and furniture assembly, and sewing.The role could also include fabric cutting, foam gluing, and fabric gluing.
There may be times when assistance in other areas of the factory and dispatch departments is required. These additional duties may include unupholstery, repairs, chair assembly, quality control, packaging, and housekeeping.
After the fixed term period, there may be opportunity for ongoing full-time employment.
You’ll need to be adaptable and willing, have an eye for detail, and to work well as part of team to meet targets.
To be successful in this role you are required to have the below skills and attributes:
- Experienced in upholstery, sewing machining, and ‘foam-up’ work.
- Proactive, reliable and responsible – someone who takes ownership.
- Attention to detail.
- Careful and passionate about your work.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
