**ABOUT THE ROLE - NGA AHUATANGA O TE TURANGA**
As our Library/Customer Support Officer, you will be the friendly face of our Mangakino Library, Customer and Visitor Centre, assisting the community and visitors with their inquiries to ensure they have a positive experience in all their interactions with the facility and its services, Tuesday to Saturday.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers, acting as a one-stop point of contact for all inquiries
- Providing accurate and timely information to visitors and residents about the district and Council services
- Taking ownership of customer interactions, resolving inquiries efficiently while providing a welcoming environment
- Contributing to library operations, including managing resources, assisting users, and supporting engaging community programs
- Managing the full range of administrative tasks as sole charge of the facility, Tuesday to Saturday.
