Store Manager and Store Supervisor
We are hiring a Store Manager as well as a Store Supervisor who enjoy a fast-paced environment.
The store manager position is a management role where you shall be responsible for the day to day operations of the store in Thames (Waikato) and its security, merchandising as well as staff and customers.
The store supervisor position requires supporting the management as it is a busy store and requires good customer service to attract new customers.
Store Manager:The role involves working a minimum of 30 hours per week. Pay rate would be between $24 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
As a Store Manager, your duties will be but not limited to as follows:- Managing overall operations of the Store.
- Ensure the store is adequately merchandised to avoid shortage or overstocking of the goods.
- Liaise with suppliers to regularly negotiate competitive pricing and quality products.
- Monitor and analyse sales and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.
- Train and supervise the store staff and ensure that they provide excellent customer service and follow company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff and provide feedback to promote professional growth.
- Develop operational excellence to maintain a safe and clean environment for staff and customers.
- Establish and keep up with the standards that ensure good customer experiences, promptly addressing feedback and complaints
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure staff compliance with all health and safety, environmental, and labour regulations applicable.
Skills Required:
- You must have 1 year of work experience or at least level 4 or higher qualification.
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clean Police record
Store Supervisor:

As a Store Supervisor, your duties will be but not limited to as follows:
- Assisting the store manager in planning and ensuring operational excellence.
- Promptly unload and process stock deliveries.
- Sort, organise and store inventory in the proper location.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of inventory movement.
- Ensure the workplace area is clean, neat and customer-ready.
- Assist team members as needed throughout the store.
- Assist with customer service in peak trade periods when required.
- Loading, transporting and delivering items in safe and timely manner to customers if and when required.
- Loading and unloading items from the delivery vehicle and when required.
- Handling customer queries and respond accordingly with escalating any complaints from customers.
- Reporting any customers related issues to the manager immediately.
- Follow all health and safety protocols at all times.
