Store Manager

Minimum Hours: 30 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $32.00
Location: Thames-Coromandel, Waikato
Requirements to be successful in the position:
- 2 years minimum experience in the retail management-busy environment.
- A qualification in business or management is advantageous.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong leadership as well as motivational skills
- The Successful applicant will have to be prepared to work weekends and evenings if required.
- Must have a Liquor Controller Qualification.
- Plan, organize, and control all day-to-day retail store operations to ensure efficient and profitable business
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff to maintain high standards of customer service and smooth
- Ensure full compliance with the Sale of Liquor Act and all relevant licensing requirements, including responsible
- Manage and oversee all in-store activities, ensuring operational procedures and company policies are
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally; greet customers and provide appropriate
- Liaise effectively with customers, employees, suppliers, sales representatives, and licensing authorities to
- Control, monitor, and organize stock levels to ensure adequate inventory is maintained to meet customer
- Oversee all security aspects of the business, ensuring correct procedures are followed by staff to prevent theft,
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, including setting and reviewing product prices to maximize
- Prepare, manage, and monitor monthly budgets; analyse variances, implement corrective actions, and develop
