Team Leader – Qualified & Experienced ECE Teacher
Are you a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher ready to step into leadership? We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to join our centre, leading with warmth, professionalism, and a focus on quality outcomes for tamariki and whanau.About the Role:
As Team Leader, you will guide a team of kaiako, support curriculum planning and implementation, and ensure high-quality practice in line with Te Whariki and our centre philosophy. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with Ministry of Education requirements, supporting staff growth, and creating a nurturing learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:- Fully qualified and registered ECE teacher (NZ Teacher Registration required)
- Minimum 5 years’ ECE teaching experience in New Zealand
- Proven leadership ability and mentoring skills
- Strong knowledge of Te Whariki and current ECE practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, professionalism, and passion for working with children
- Must have New Zealand Citizenship or Residency
- ?? Please note: New graduates and teachers without NZ teaching experience will not be considered for this role.
