Service Administrator
FFP Canterbury Ltd currently have a fulltime permanent opening for a Service Administrator working from our Timaru Office. The role relates primarily to the administrative requirements surrounding the Building Warrant of Fitness process and related service tasks.
This is a busy role that provides a good variety of tasks. The ability to multi-task is paramount as per the demands of working in a fast-moving service environment. Experience in the fire industry is an advantage but we are happy to consider people from similarly fast-moving administration-based roles looking for a change in direction.
The role will include but is not limited to -- Servicing incoming calls and emails.
- Liaising with clients, service providers, and local authorities.
- The administration of compliance documentation - outbound & incoming.
- Client management – New and existing.
- Invoice preparation.
- Assisting other team members and departments when required.
- Document control and System Maintenance.
- Assisting in any ad-hoc project work driven by the other business units.
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- A sound knowledge of computer applications is a must.
- Great attention to detail.
- Be able to work well to tight deadlines.
- Be dependable, confident, responsible, trustworthy and an excellent communicator.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
