About the RoleThis full time position is designed to develop the registered nurse knowledge and skills in diabetes education and clinical management to an expert level. The internship consists of three nine month rotations across the major sub-specialty areas of the Diabetes Service and includes clinical supervision with a Clinical Nurse Specialist, support for post graduate study, professional supervision and preparation for prescribing.

About the ServiceTe Whatu Ora Waikato Regional Diabetes Service provides secondary level care to those within the Waikato Region. This expands as far as Coromandel, Taumarunui, Te Kauwhata and the Raglan coast. We have a large multi-disciplinary team and promote a positive approach to teamwork.
