We are looking for an outstanding Store Manager to lead our team and drive a customer-first, commercially successful store. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will bring together people, performance, and operational excellence to deliver great results.

About the Role

As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of the store's performance—leading your team to deliver strong financial outcomes while creating an engaging place to work and shop.

You'll balance leading people, driving commercial performance, and executing consistently high operational standards across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a customer-driven store culture, ensuring we consistently deliver on our brand promise
  • Take accountability for sales growth, profitability, and key store KPIs
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team
  • Create a positive, inclusive culture that drives engagement and retention
  • Deliver excellence across all departments (Fresh, Dry, Checkouts, Online)
  • Maintain strong focus on availability, presentation, and execution standards
  • Manage labour and productivity to achieve wage targets
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and co-op standards
  • Lead recruitment, succession planning, and development of future leaders
  • Partner with Foodstuffs Support teams and execute network initiatives
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience leading a supermarket or large-format retail store
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L and performance metrics
  • Exceptional people leadership—you know how to build and inspire great teams
  • Passion for customer experience and community connection
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership
  • Strong understanding of supermarket operations and retail execution
  • High levels of drive, ownership, and accountability
