About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team. This role is pivotal in supporting the company’s continued growth and success by delivering accurate and competitive quotes and pricing. The position involves overseeing two team members and working closely with the wider team to ensure projects are costed effectively.

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates and quotes for civil and foundation projects.
• Analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope and requirements.
• Work closely with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure cost competitiveness.
• Ensure all costings and submissions are completed to company standards and deadlines.
• Monitor and update project cost databases and maintain accurate records.

• Proven experience as an Estimator in civil and foundation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry practices.
• Proficiency in estimation and costing
• Experience with BuildXact software (beneficial but not essential).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
