SD Aluminium Limited, a reputable construction company with a strong industry presence, is expanding its workforce to meet growing project demands. We are currently seeking skilled metal fabricators to join our dynamic team. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.

• Analyzes blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to identify fabrication requirements.
• Measures and marks dimensions, shapes, and joint positions on metal stock.
• Utilizes specialized tools to cut, bend, and shape metal into specified structures or products.
• Assembles metal components by welding, bolting, or riveting.
• Inspects welds for accuracy, bead width, and penetration, performing repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Cleans and smooths welds using filing, chiseling, or grinding techniques.
• May program machinery or computer-aided tools to enhance the efficiency of the metal fabrication process.
• Assisting team members in other sections as directed.
• Assist in handling, categorizing, and managing inventory of raw materials, including unloading and organizing goods from incoming shipments.
• Perform other reasonable duties as required by the employer.

• Location: Auckland
• Job type: Full-time
• Pay rate: from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour
• Days required: 5-6 days/week, roaster may apply
• Hours per week: At least 30

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience or a relevant NZ level 4 qualification or an equivalent overseas qualification is required.
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach to tasks.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to precision.
