Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking meat producer known for delivering high-quality products. With ongoing growth, they are looking for motivated Production Packers to join their team at the Pukekohe site. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity in a stable, supportive, and fast-paced food manufacturing environment.Full training is provided to set you up for success.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Packing, weighing, and labelling chicken and meat products according to company specifications
- Handling raw and cooked meat products safely and hygienically
- Performing pre-operational checks and ensuring work areas are clean and ready
- Working on fast-paced production lines and meeting daily packing targets
- Conducting basic quality checks to ensure product consistency and presentation
- Following strict hygiene, food safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
- Assisting with cleaning duties, including equipment and workstations
- Ensuring accurate documentation and traceability of packed goods
- Collaborating with team members and reporting any issues to the shift supervisor
- Always maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work on your feet and lift to 20 kg
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
