Production Assistant

Zonda beneficials is a New Zealand company that specialises in the development and sales of quality pest control and pollination solution products. These range from pheromone traps and predator mites through to self-contaminated bumblebee hives and are available to home gardeners and growers throughout the country.
Zonda’s custom built production facilities are based at Gourmet Waiuku in South Auckland.
We are currently on the lookout for a Production Assistant on a fixed-term basis until Mid-January, within our custom-built indoor facility for our bumble bee program. You will need to be able to work at least 32 hours a week, Monday to Friday.The hourly rate for this role is minimum wage.
The role is based in the bumble bee room and includes responsibilities such as cleaning hives, preparing hives for sales, feeding bees, etc.
Key Skills Required:- Ability to think thoroughly and attention to details
- Able to maintain high cleanliness level
- Good physical strength, as some tasks in the job require heavy lifting (up to 20 kgs)
- Not allergic to bees and insects
