About the role:Our Medical Imaging Technologists (MITs) are responsible for performing diagnostic imaging to a high standard. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, technically skilled and thrives in a collaborative environment. The Radiology department operates a day shift 7 days a week with an overnight on call service.
This roster is shared equally amongst you and your MIT colleagues.Key responsibilities:Patient focused healthcareRadiation safety of staff and patientsWork within the multidisciplinary team to provide diagnostic imaging.Perform a range of imaging from X-ray, CT , mobile and image intensifier equipmentOperate and troubleshoot equipmentParticipate in our after hours on call service.
The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the Medical Imaging Technologist Collective Agreement.
