IT Field Support Subcontractor

Talktechnow is building its subcontractor network for onsite IT support work across New Zealand.

We are looking for reliable, professional, customer-focused IT technicians who can provide field-based support for business and enterprise client environments.

This is a subcontractor / contractor opportunity, not an employee-based full-time role. Work volume may vary depending on region, client demand, and project requirements.

• onsite IT support
• desktop and laptop troubleshooting
• Break/Fix work
• IMAC/D tasks
• Hands & Eyes support
• printer and peripheral support
• device checks and basic onsite technical assistance
• following remote instructions from client or support teams

• have practical IT support or service desk experience
• are confident working in customer-facing environments
• can communicate clearly and professionally onsite
• have your own transport
• ideally have your own basic field tools
• are looking for flexible subcontractor-based work

**Important requirements:**

To be considered for enterprise client deployments, applicants must be able to meet the following:

• valid New Zealand work rights
• ability to operate as a **sole trader or registered company**
• willingness to complete a **New Zealand criminal record check**
• **Public Liability Insurance** with a minimum cover of **NZD 5,000,000**, or willingness to obtain it before approval
• ability to meet professional, customer-facing service standards
