Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in Bell Block, New Plymouth.
Responsibilities:- Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Maintaining accurate services records and documenting all repairs
- Communicating effectively with the rest of the team and customers
- Staying up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A relevant qualification or relevant industry experience (essential)
- Sound knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions and electrical systems
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise – this is a very busy role
- Class 5, Forklift & WTR Licences preferred but not essential – support for obtaining these licences is provided
