Diesel / Truck Mechanic / Technician

McCurdy Trucks require new team members to join our busy award winning Truck and Trailer repair Dealership.

We represent the best brands in the market and cover the entire Taranaki region from our branch located in Bell Block, New Plymouth.

We are the Taranaki Parts & Service agents for Truckstops (Volvo, Mack & Hino), Isuzu Ute, Scania, and Isuzu Master Truck Dealer for Taranaki, Wanganui and King Country.

Our New Plymouth branch requires a Trade Qualified, New Zealand based Diesel Mechanic / Technician that can carry out servicing, general R&M repairs and diagnostics on trucks and trailers.

• Carry out all repairs to trucks and trailers
• Carry out general servicing when required
• Diagnose and trace a variety of faults
• Make modifications and adaptions (Square peg to round hole!)
• Understand the pressures on the transport industry and be willing to exceed expectations to get our customers back on the road.
• Possible option of joining our Call-Out Team for a suitable applicant (Vehicle, allowance, overtime etc)

• Fulltime hours from 7:30am

You must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol tests.

Wage rate is $30.00 / $40.00 with overtime paid at x1.5 after 8 hours.
