Water Installer - CCC Registered
Paul Smith Earthmoving is a premier, earthmoving company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality civil projects across the South Island.
We're looking for a water reticulation installer who can deliver drainage and water reticulation projects for local body infrastructure, commercial construction and subdivisions.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications and attributes:
- An Authorised Water Supply Installer on the Christchurch City Council’s installer register.
- Can work on council watermains.
- Is aware of and only uses materials which are on the Council’s approved materials list.
- Ensures compliance with the hygiene, work standards and procedures set out by the Council.
- Can construct and upgrade reticulation systems for residential subdivisions, commercial developments and public infrastructure projects.
- Performs trenching and excavation for water system installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Have a great work ethic, keen attitude and takes pride in your work.
- The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Strong understanding and adherence to site safety and compliance.

Paul Smith Earthmoving specialises in earthmoving, excavation, demolition, drainage, construction, contaminated site remediation, track and road maintenance, landscaping, rock supply, landfill management, trucking, and transport works.
We employ over 190 permanent staff based throughout our Timaru, Ashburton, Christchurch, Greymouth, Twizel, Central Otago and Gore offices. While based in these locations, we also complete projects throughout the South Island.
