About the role
We are seeking an experienced Plasterboard Installer, to join our team at JD FIX Limited in Christchurch, Canterbury. This is a full-time position where you will work with a talented team of plasterboard installers to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of residential and commercial projects.
What you'll be doing- Accurately measure, cut, and install plasterboard to project specifications
- Prepare surfaces for plasterboard installation.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with the wider construction team to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Installer or similar trade role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to precise measurements
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
