CNC Programmer / Nester

This role focuses on creating efficient and accurate nests to optimise material usage for laser, plasma and oxyfuel cutting machines.

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5pm. (Flexibility around hours for the right candidate)

• Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
• The ability to build good working relationships with customers and suppliers

• Create and optimise 2D nests and cut paths using our Kinetic Software
• Ensure efficient material utilisation
• Communicate with production and the machine operators regarding job requirements, priorities, and any technical issues.
• Contact with our suppliers to order plate as required
• Maintain organized records of nesting programs, material usage, and part identification.
• Monitor and adjust programs as needed based on machine performance and part quality feedback.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in nesting strategies and programming workflow.

However, this is not essential and full on the job training will be given to the right candidate.
