Cafe Manager

Ideally any barista skills would be a bonus.

We are a neighbourhood cafe seeking someone with a relaxed nature, but who is quick in their work.

• Delegating & following daily jobs lists from opening to closing and everything in between.
• You will manage our full FOH team including all other baristas to ensure a high standard is set & maintained.
• Ensuring staff are following our Catroux standards – uniform, presentation, set break times, hygiene, steps of service and keeping them engaged and happy by brining good energy as a leader to get everyone working efficiently and as a team.
• Ensuring the till is balanced, tabs are paid, staff tabs are recorded, doing the daily cash up at the end of the shift.
• Ensure food items are correctly labelled and priced.
• Ordering all FOH packaging, checking off orders and putting away in the correct areas.
• Bringing any feedback/ concerns to the owners, handling any customer issues with ease.
• Constant training any new staff or less experienced staff.
• Learning dietary requirements, allergens, all menus.
• Our cafe is locally run, so you will need to have a friendly approachable personality with excellent communication skills and be good at remembering peoples names or coffees.

30 - 35 hours a week.
