Doggy Daycare Team Leader

Kuri City is looking for an experienced Doggy Daycare Team Leader to run the daily floor and lead our Daycare team.
This role suits someone who knows dogs, understands group behaviour, and has real experience managing people. You will be responsible for dogs, staff, and day-to-day decision making.

This is not an entry-level role.
The role- Lead the daily operation of daycare
- Manage and support Daycare Assistants during shifts
- Make confident decisions around dog groupings and behaviour
- Read and respond to dog body language early and appropriately
- Handle incidents, fights, injuries, or emergencies calmly
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean, safe, professional environment
- Communicate clearly with dog owners and management
- Support onboarding and training of new staff
- Plan and run enrichment activities
- Proven experience working with groups of dogs
- Strong knowledge of dog behaviour and body language
- Staff management or team leadership experience
- Confidence handling dogs independently
- Clear communication and calm leadership style
- Reliability, organisation, and follow-through
- Exceptional customer service skills
Having and Animal Management Qualification (Level 4+) or Qualifications in Dog Training or Handling would be advantageous.
