There are 90front-line clinical staff who work with modern equipment in 22 mobile dentalunits and 13 dental clinics.We are looking for anenthusiastic, energetic, innovative therapist to take a step up in their careerinto this first line leadership role, we have a role based in South Canterbury as well as in Canterbury.As ClinicalTeam Leader, you'll be assisting to co-ordinate our team working in communityand school settings with children and their families/whānau and have theopportunity to work with diverse patient groups, managing a wide variety oforal health problems.
You will be a reflective practitioner who embracesinnovation and advances in clinical practice and will enjoy working in a teamalongside other skilled dental/oral health therapists ad assistants. In thisrole your time will be split between leading your cluster team and working asan oral health practitioner.
You'll be well supported to develop yourleadership and management skills as part of your career pathway.In this role, you will beresponsible for:Providinghigh quality oral health care appropriate to the physical, social and culturalneeds of pre-school and school age clientsProvidingclinical support, mentoring and advice to staff in your cluster, supportingtheir personal growth and developmentCo-ordinating,leading and supporting staff to ensure service targets and priorities are metParticipatingin team meetings and the service quality improvement processSupportthe day to day running of Clinical teamsAbout YouYou will be anexperienced practitioner with a minimum of 3 years oral health therapyexperience, who is ready to step into their leadership journey.
