Pharmacy Assistants/Pharmacy Technician Trainees

We are looking for two Pharmacy Assistants/Pharmacy Technician Trainees to join us.

This is not your typical pharmacy assistant job, you will be trained for and would be expected to step into the Pharmacy Technician role. You will work alongside our experienced Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists to ensure smooth operation of our two pharmacies in Auckland (Silverdale and Otahuhu).

You will be delivering front-line customer service, answering inquiries, managing retail stock, merchandising, accepting prescriptions, processing payments, and assisting our Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists.

You will be employed on permanent basis and work a minimum of 30 and maximum of 55 hours per week between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm 7 days per week. You must be available to work from 9 am to noon every Saturday.

You will be paid between $23.95 to $27.00 per hour depending on your work experience.

1. Minimum of 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience;
2. In absence of required experience, relevant technician qualification at level 4 or above;
3. Experience in using computer systems;
4. Ability to work hours set out above.
