Management Accountant
If you are an experienced Management Accountant then this is an exciting opportunity for you to join Toyota New Zealand. The purpose of this role is to partner with the business to provide management reporting, analysis and support with budgeting and forecasting.
This opportunity is permanent/full-time based on-site Monday – Friday at our Head Office in Palmerston North and will report to our Finance Manager.
What's involved in the role:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, reporting, analysis and commentary.
- Partnering with different areas of the business to complete corporate and divisional financial reviews.
- Completing assigned month end processes.
- Supporting department managers with budgeting and forecasting.
- Support the Global Compliance function at Toyota New Zealand. This role will contribute to implementing and maintaining key compliance tools and processes that ensure ethical, transparent, and risk-aware operations. You'll work closely with local and global stakeholders to support initiatives such as third-party risk management, continuous compliance monitoring, and internal control documentation.
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
- Ideally, you will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with Management Accounting experience. If you have slightly less experience but are confident you can hit the ground running as a Management Accountant, we would still love to hear from you.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders in the business.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to large ERP systems - experience with JDE is a bonus.
