We are looking for an enthusiastic Casual Retail Assistant to work at our Te Makete site outside Waiouru Millitary Camp. Hours will be on a as and when required basis, dependent on business needs.
The retail assistant must deliver a quality retail experience to our customers, residents or clients.
Waiouru is located within the Ruapehu district, 130 km north of Palmerston North and 112km from Taupo. With some of the best fly fishing, hunting, great walks, skiing and mountain bike trails in the country on your doorstep it's an outdoor enthusiast's dream.The tight knit community is proactive and offer plenty of events you can chose to be a part of.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
- Deliver professional customer service
- Assist with presenting food
- Maintain clean & tidy front/back of house
- Prepare and serve barista coffee
- Operate a cash register
He korero mou / About you:
- Experience in the provision of superior customer service
- Experience in providing barista, coffee bar service
- Experience in cash handling and reconciliation
- Team player and able to work autonomously
- A food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one
