We’re seeking a capable, motivated truck driver to lead our crew, with a strong focus on supporting our agricultural contracting operations. This is a hands-on, varied rural driving position, which involves practical leadership, as well as day to day job planning, supervision, and reporting.
While silage is a big part of what we do, you’ll also be involved in a variety of other contracted agricultural work around the district—carting baleage, grain, and other bulk goods that support our diverse rural client base.
We run a reliable fleet of Mack and Kenworth trucks—built tough and suited to the real world of rural ag contracting. We need you to ensure that they’re rolling out daily with purpose, direction, and pride.
Key Responsibilities- Driving truck and trailer units across a range of agricultural cartage jobs
- Coordinating a small team of drivers, keeping communication clear and operations humming
- Leading by example when it comes to vehicle care, job quality, and safety standards
- Ensuring all documentation is captured accurately from all drivers and collating for our Operations Dispatch Manager
- Supporting harvests and broader rural operations—adapting to changing conditions and workloads
- Class 4 or 5 License and solid driving experience
- Leadership skills and a calm, confident presence
- A strong understanding of rural/agricultural contracting
- The ability to stay cool under pressure and a can-do mindset
- Passion and respect for older trucks!
