Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) have an opportunity for a career focused quantity surveyor to develop their skills and push themselves up the career ladder, while experiencing the buzz of the Wellington construction market.

You will need to be comfortable running your own projects, but equally happy to join a larger commercial team on a bigger project if required.

To be part of this contractor, CTR are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years experience. Ideally this would be local knowledge, however if you have some solid new build or interiors experience from overseas and have the right to work in New Zealand, please forward your details.

We are looking for a quantity surveyor who has been exposed to projects from $5 million to $20 million, which have been either new build or fit out schemes. The projects coming on line are a real variety therefore if you had a mix of commercial, industrial and schools, it would be ideal to see these types of projects in your background.

You will be carrying out the typical duties of a Quantity surveyor, from dealing with claims and variations to processing payments and the final accounts. You should be comfortable working under your own steam, although more senior surveyors are available to assist if required.
