The DNM has delegated responsibility for the after-hours operational management of our hospital services, including crisis management.
This is an exceptional opportunity to support the safe and efficient running of hospital services whilst providing positive leadership and support for staff.About the Team/Service Location The Integrated Operations Centre (IOC), provides a comprehensive support service which comprises of Duty Nurse Managers, the Variance Response team, Allocation and Casual staff, Transit Nurses, National Travel Assistance and the Transit Hub.
In normal working hours the IOC supports the directorates to meet their targets and plans, and after hours holds the delegated authority of the directorates to ensure the best possible use of resources and processes.We are a dedicated and supportive team who collectively strive to achieve best patient, whānau and staff outcomes.About you A positive, professional and hardworking Registered Nurse with a minimum of 4 years nursing experience in a variety of clinical settings.
Comprehensive knowledge of the New Zealand health system, targets and processes.Prior IOC and/or hospital flow experience is desirable.A critical thinker who can apply their clinical and operational knowledge to ensuring the best possible patient flow and staffing decisions are made
