About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department (ED) team at Hutt Hospital as part of the Associate Clinical Nurse Manager (ACNM) group, covering a 1-year maternity leave position.This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with strong leadership skills and a passion for emergency care to take the next step in their career.

  • s Emergency Department (ED) is part of the Hospital Operations Group within the Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley district.
As one of six key operational groups across the district
  • s provider services, it supports care ranging from primary to tertiary level and serves not only the local community but also the wider Central Region.

Operating across Wellington Regional, Hutt, and Kenepuru Hospitals, the group delivers responsive and high-quality care to a diverse and often high-acuity patient population.Hutt ED is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

The team is highly adaptable, responding to a wide range of presentations, including a significant number of Māori, Pasifika, and elderly patients with complex health and social needs.
