Christchurch - Intensive Services Support Worker - Youth

We are looking for permanent, full-time and part-time Support Workers to work alongside, coach and mentor rangatahi and tamariki in our Intensive Support Services in Christchurch.
What does a Support Worker do? - He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko?
Our Support Workers assist rangatahi and tamariki who access our services to live as independently as possible in their community.
You will:
- work as a team to ensure consistency in your approach
- support tamariki or rangatahi to go to school or access education
- observe and respond to health concerns or support the overall health and wellbeing of the young person
- support rangatahi/young people to work towards and attain their goals and improve outcomes.
- Earn competitive pay rates between $23.50 up to $29.10 per hour

- Previous experience working with young people/rangatahi
- An understanding of Intellectual disability and autism

- A full NZ driver's licence
