Atlan is a New Zealand-owned company specialising in stormwater treatment solutions for civil, infrastructure and commercial construction projects throughout New Zealand.
We're looking for a practical, organised person to join our Auckland team in a varied role that combines operations, project coordination, inventory management, customer communication and hands-on workshop work.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a drainage, plumbing, civil construction, manufacturing, logistics or operations background who wants to build a long-term career in a growing business.
About the Role
As our Operations Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly from order through to delivery.
You'll work closely with our sales team, customers, suppliers and workshop operations to ensure the right products are built, delivered and installed successfully.
While most of your time will be office-based, you'll also be involved in assembling products, managing stock and visiting sites when required.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging inventory levels and stock control
Purchasing materials and components from suppliers
Using and maintaining our NetSuite ERP system
Coordinating customer orders and delivery schedules
Liaising with customers, contractors and suppliers
Reviewing plans and project information to ensure products suit site requirements
Supporting the sales team with technical and operational coordination
Scheduling and coordinating production activities
Building and assembling stormwater treatment products in our workshop
Conducting occasional site visits throughout Auckland and New Zealand
About You
We're more interested in finding the right person than someone who ticks every box.
You may come from a background in drainage, plumbing, civil construction, manufacturing, engineering, logistics or operations.
The ideal person will:
Be highly organised and detail-orientedTake ownership and follow tasks through to completion
Be practical and mechanically minded
Have strong problem-solving skills
Be comfortable learning and using computer systems
Communicate confidently with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Be willing to roll up their sleeves and help wherever required
Hold a full New Zealand driver's licence
Experience reading plans, managing inventory, using ERP systems or working in construction-related industries would be advantageous, but training will be provided for the right person.

This role is based full-time at our office and workshop in Airport Oaks, Auckland.
Due to the operational and hands-on nature of the position, this role is not suitable for remote work.
