As part of our 24/7 service to both the hospital and widercommunity, we operate high'volume automated platformsalongside essential manual testing processes. Our team is driven by a sharedgoal'to provide the highest quality service insupport of optimal patient care.About the roleIn this role, you will be responsible for: Efficiently separating and processing samplesOperating automation track system and allassociated analysers with opportunities to develop further skillsOperating STAT instruments and performing manualchemistry testsAdhering to laboratory quality assurancestandards and proceduresDemonstrating a strong commitment to deliveringan exceptional service to our clients About youStrong self'motivation and the ability to workboth independently and collaborativelyAdaptability and willingness to learn newtechnologies and equipmentRegistration with the New Zealand MedicalScience Council as a Medical Laboratory Technician (or eligibility forregistration)Experience in biochemistry laboratory procedures(advantageous but not essential) Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to deliveringexcellent healthcare for all.
