Job involves operating agricultural machinery of differing types depending on the seasonal changes.
Must be able to pass a pre employment police check and return a negative drug test
Hold a clean full class 1 driver license
Minimum of 4 years experience operating heavy agricultural machinery
Welding/engineering/mechanical experience is an advantage
Be physically fit and prepared for long days during season peaks
Starts with various cultivation and seeding equipment through to grass and maize harvesting.
The duties of this role include but will not be limited to:
Tractor driving, operating machinery such as discs, powerharrows , seeding equipment , baler and grass / maize harvesting machinery
Machine maintenance and cleaning
50 + hours per week with some weekend work, some early starts and late finish will be required, typical tractor driving conditions relating to the seasons and weather.

If you meet these requirements the job could attract no less than New Zealand’s median hourly rate wage for a minimum of 30hrs/week.
