You'll deliver services both in person and via telehealth, using the PACE (Patient Anywhere, Clinician Elsewhere) model to improve access for patients across the region, particularly in rural areas.Your caseload will be broad and varied, with a focus on diabetes, renal, oncology, gastroenterology, and general medical and surgical patients.

The hybrid model supports a mix of on-site care at Southland Hospital and remote telehealth, with strong peer support and clinical networks extending to Dunedin Hospital.About youYou must:be registered with the New Zealand Dietitians Board and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate with a prescribing endorsement (essential)have at least three years' experience across outpatient and inpatient settingsbe confident using telehealth and digital tools to deliver patient carebring sound clinical reasoning, cultural competence, and excellent communication skillsbe proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and within a team.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
