Customer Service - Retail Drycleaning

Based in Invercargill McCallums Group is a family owned and operated laundry and dry-cleaning provider since 1927. We pride ourselves with high levels of service to our customers, whilst striving to be the employer of choice and a responsible corporate citizen.
You will be responsible for ensuring positive customer experience and garment handling, this will involve:
A low staff turnover, vast reductions in our carbon foot and a 98% result in external audits are some of our achievements.
We have a Customer Service role available at our Dee Street branch, Invercargill
About You:You will be the first person customers see when entering McCallums, with this in mind you must have the following attributes:
- Great communication skills
- A fast learner with a great memory and an eye for detail
- Energetic, highly motivated and physically fit
- You must be a team player
- Strong literacy skills
- Able to work alone without need for direction
- Adaptable with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Enjoys warm environments
- Eager to achieve the set daily production targets
- Has reliable transport
You will be responsible for ensuring positive customer experience and garment handling, this will involve:
- Appropriately identifying garment needs and tagging to be processed correctly
- Identifying or rejecting garments not suitable for processing
- Cash handling
- Customer delivery services
- Housekeeping duties
- Assisting in other department when required
- Hours are Monday to Friday 7:45am – 5:00pm
- Requires a full clean drivers licence
- With the correct candidate this role has the potential to grow
- Must be prepared to be vetted if required
- You must be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Have No criminal convictions
- Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
