We are look for a Senior CDP at our popular beachside Bistro
We are looking for talented and dedicated staff to join our kitchen team. As a Senior CDP you will work closely with our Senior Sous Chef to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen, help develop new dishes, and lead by example in a face-paced and dynamic environment.CDP must have previous experience in a high volume kitchen.
Key Responsibilities - Senior CDP
Assist the Senior Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking and plating.Contribute to menu planning and development, ensuring a balance of creativity and quality.
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
Step in for Head Chef as needed, managing kitchen operations in their absence.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Senior CDP in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively under pressure.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
Passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.

Requirements:
Experience running a busy kitchenAble to work according to rosters which may include weekends, days, night or public holidays.
