- $106,016 per annum + 3% kiwi saver.

For more details about the role, you can view the Job Description here.About you | Mōhou ake To be successful you will need; A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or relevant tertiary qualification Post-graduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching: Early Intervention or the ability to attain this within four years of beginning in the position A minimum of three years' experience and a deep knowledge of child development, learning and behaviour An understanding of a range of needs and disabilities and their implications for daily functioning in family life and for teaching and learning in the context of early childhood and family homes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively with children, young people and their families and teachers across a diverse range of settings The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tirirti o Waitangi and tangatawhenuatanga.
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori.Travel across the region is required for this role so you will need to have the flexibility to do this.
