Office Manager
Pedleys Limited is based in rural Rongotea, West of Palmerston North, and is an important player in the dairy and meat industries.
With effluent crews managing dairy farming and commercial spreading needs, and trucking carting bulk liquids and general freight, there is a lot going on!
What you’ll do
This new, busy, part-time role (32 hours per week) will report to and work closely with our General Manager and Director at the heart of our business. The tasks range from accounting and finance admin to HR and payroll admin, advertising and marketing admin, fleet management, tracking, monitoring and recording for environmental compliance, as well as general day-to-day office management.Most hours particularly initially will be worked on-site.
What we’re looking for
You will be a positive, trustworthy, down-to-earth person with high levels of accuracy, looking for a role you can make your own. You will have a good sense of humour, be highly organised, like process and structure, work quickly and smartly and be able to implement logical, efficient procedures to make the office hum.Importantly, you will also be flexible enough to get your hands dirty (literally sometimes!) and pitch in and get what needs to be done, done. A rural background would be ideal but not necessary. Success and experience in an office management or a similarly process and detail focused role is a must.
