We're on the hunt for an experienced Cook to join our busy kitchen and help us deliver high-quality, flavour-forward food to our guests. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in every plate that leaves the pass, we want to hear from you.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a variety of dishes to established recipes and quality standards
Monitor and regulate cooking equipment such as ovens and grills
Portion and prepare with care and consistency
Store ingredients and prepared items in temperature-controlled environments maintaining kitchen FCP
Cater to special dietary requirements with accuracy and care
Ensure food safety and hygiene protocols are met at all times
Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements
Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff and apprentices
Comfortable cooking all protein types
Available for 7 day shift work
What We’re Looking ForA New Zealand Certificate Level 4 in cookery
OR at least 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable role
A passion for great food and a solid understanding of kitchen operations
Strong attention to detail and time management.
Familiarity with food storage, temperature control, and allergen handling
Ability to work in a team under pressure while maintaining high standards

Pay Range: $32ph
This is not a fast food role or an entry-level kitchenhand position. We’re looking for someone skilled and experienced in full-service kitchen operations, capable of contributing to a quality-focused menu in a busy hospitality setting.
