Successful applicants will begin their role anytime from December 2024 onwards.As a new graduate in your Midwifery First Year of Practice, you will gain experience across a range of options including (but not exhaustive):secondary and tertiary hospital environments
- rotations through the antenatal, labour and birthing suite, and postnatal wardsprimary maternity units and hubs located in urban, semi-urban, rural, and remote settingsexperience working in a caseload team alongside our maternity settingsthe opportunity to be part of an integrated system where primary, secondary, and tertiary services network and provide a safe childbearing journeythe opportunity to tailor a career across different work environments.Our Director of Midwifery, Midwife Managers, Educators, Clinical Coaches, and midwives will support you through your journey in caring for our whānau.
