Permanent employment.We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our Inpatient Receptionist team at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.
About the RoleAs a successful Receptionist, you will be key in offering reception and administrative responsibilities to the team in a very busy environment. The successful applicant must be methodical in approach, highly organised, flexible, and desire to be a supportive team member.
They must also have excellent customer service skills.Day to day you will be welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone answering any inquiries, and liaising with the Medical Team. Data capturing of patient flow. Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.

About the ServiceInpatient Receptionist is committed to front desk operations in the wards, responsible for greeting, admitting, discharging, transfer of patient staying within the ward and managing patient records.
They ensure the smooth running of the reception area and provide essential support to healthcare staff and our success is driven by the care of patients and their whanau. About Hamilton Waikato Hospital is a major regional hospital in Hamilton and is a leading tertiary teaching hospital located in Hamilton, New Zealand, serving as the regional hub for the Midland area, which includes the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairawhiti, and Taranaki districts.
With around 722 inpatient beds, 22 operating theatres, and a dedicated outpatient clinic and procedure centre, Waikato Hospital provides comprehensive hospital services, including radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy.
