ABE Limited, based in Auckland, is seeking a skilledElectrical Engineering Technicianto join our team. This is apermanent, full-time rolewith a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Pay rate:$32 – $38 per hour (commensurate with skills and experience).
Key Responsibilities- Design, assemble, and install residential and commercial electrical circuit boards.
- Conduct testing, calibration, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, equipment, and components.
- Assist engineers with the modification and improvement of electrical designs.
- Maintain accurate records of testing, repairs, and system performance.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and electrical codes.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or
- Have at least three years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering technology.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
