Skid Steer Operator – Civil Construction

If you’re confident on a skid steer, experienced with grader attachments, and know how to work accurately with Machine Control GPS, this could be the role for you.

The Role:

• Operate skid steer loaders on residential subdivision projects
• Use grader attachments for spreading and trimming to level
• Spread and trim soil and gravels to design specifications
• Assist across all areas of residential subdivisions as required
• Work alongside graders, excavators, and site crews
• Maintain safe, tidy, and productive worksites

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven skid steer operating experience in civil construction
• Grader attachment experience (required)
• Machine Control GPS experience (essential)
• Experience on residential subdivision projects
• Strong understanding of levels and finish work
• Good understanding of material and compaction (OMC)
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
• Applicants must currently live in the Canterbury region
• (We are not accepting applications from outside Canterbury NZ.)
